Tommy and I had a leisure morning. I had a lunch appointment with some friends, so I could take my time. Tommy seemed to enjoy her grass although lately she’d been pulling the entire mass out of the container and then would look at me to fix it.  It seemed that she doesn’t like to eat her grass when it laying sideways on the carpet.
I left for lunch and to stop at the library to do some research. When I returned after about three hours, Tommy started following me around the condo.  We played and napped through the afternoon.
When it was time for supper, Tommy was ready to enjoy helping number 2 of her beef and carrots pate that she had started for breakfast.  I ate a salad and Tommy was interested in what I was eating. Maybe she thought that I was eating her grass.
I was supposed to go to a lecture, but since I had napped a little too long, I stayed home. Thursday is always a busy television night and I still had to watch the first two episodes of American Horror Story. I guess Tommy doesn’t care for horror. When I started watching, she headed into the bedroom to nap under the bed.
Later when I was watching Grey’s Anatomy, Tommy came back and sat on her rug.  Tommy and I played for a while as I watched the show. She had gone and sat by the fleece teaser to indicate that we hadn’t been playing enough.
After playing for a while Tommy went back to sitting on her rug and I reclined on the sofa to watch Scandal.  The next thing I knew it was 12:30 A.M. We had both fallen asleep. I got up and as I was turning everything off, Tommy woke up and headed right into the bedroom. She got her second wind and started playing on the scratching post. When I finished getting ready for and got into bed Tommy played with her yellow ball. I knew that we didn’t have to get up early in the morning so I said good night and turned out the light. Tommy walked around the bed and jumped up, mewed at me and jumped off the other side. I’m not sure if she was complaining that I wasn’t going to play, or was saying good night. I was too tired to investigate and knew that I would learn her meaning during the night if she came up on the bed or stayed under the bed.
