   Today maintenance workers came to do a balcony inspection.  I wanted to be home during it because when the window washer was here a friend’s cat who was staying with me completely freaked out and I hadn’t been home at the time to alleviate her fears.  I didn’t want the same problem to occur with Tommy.

   Well, I didn’t need to worry.  As the motorized platform ascended not only did Tommy watch as the workman rose passed our windows, she stood up against the windows to get a better view as the platform rose out of view.  I definitely have a curious little kitty.

   The rest of the day was relatively quiet.  I’m still having trouble getting her to play.  I did need to leave for a few hours to attend Bastille Days and (partially) participate in Storm the Bastille.  As always when I returned I was scolded for leaving her alone even though I left the television set and lights on for her.  At bedtime all was forgiven and we settled in for the night.
