Tommy again tried to wake me a
few times between 5:00 and 7:00 when I finally got out of bed. I gave her food
and went to the study to work on the blogs as I was very far behind on my
grandfather’s diaries.
Tommy came in once to get her
morning salad of greens and a second time to jump up on the desk to get some
attention. Once that was done, she
retreated to the living room to enjoy the morning sun until I finished.
I had to leave to take the car
in for some repairs, so Tommy got to spend a few hours alone. When I returned, we spent some time together
before I had to leave again to go to a movie.
When I got home, it was time for
Tommy to have her dinner. It was still cold so I warmed it in the microwave.
She didn’t want it right away which was odd, so I changed bowls and cooled it a
little even though it didn’t seem that hot. She then deemed it well enough to
eat and finished it off.
She then came in to the study
and stood by the grass. She can’t reach it (or at least hasn’t figured out a
way yet). Since I had been gone so much I got it down and let her have a
little. I hope this doesn’t constipate her because we’ve had that problem
before.
After dinner Tommy was ready
to crash for the night. She played with
her yellow ball a little. I attempted to get her to play with the fleece
teaser, but she clearly wasn’t in the mood.
When it was time for bed, I got ready and went to bed wondering when I’d
hear from Tommy during the night.
